As we slip into the cooler months, and there is more possibility of rain, it is important to keep safe on the road. Accidents happen, especially when it is raining out there in the desert. This will be more noticeable if you were not afflicted with headaches before the accident. You could also get a cracked or fractured skull in a crash and not be aware. For some of these injuries, you will need an MRI, CT scan, or another diagnostic tool to really get any answers.
But you won’t be getting any answers if you do not present yourself to a doctor and let them know your symptoms. A lot of us, in the time after a crash, want to forget about it and move on. And a headache can become something that seems easier to forget about. Never sit on a pain in your head, especially after an accident. This is not something you should keep to yourself.
The bottom line is this- if you have pain in your head, it could be based on a neurological injury. That could be very serious. Make sure you insist on your doctor testing you thoroughly and consult with your lawyer if you need any assistance finding the right physician.
